The next chapter in the Alchemy book is this sleek black annodized metal yo-yo. The MX has a similar feel to the cuLater but it's lighter, it uses a C bearing, and the annodization doesn't go into the inside of the yo-yo to cut down on string wear. The MX was released at the 2008 World Yo-Yo Contest as the player version of the Special Edition Green one you only got by pre-registering for Worlds. Some of the players thought they were so good they used them in their routines. Super smooth on the string, a great metal yo-yo without the great big price tag.
