Campfire by Caribou Lodge Yo-Yo Works
The new offering from Caribou Lodge is the affordable and incredible Campfire yo-yo and I hope you brought your marshmallows because this thing really cooks. For this run we have some mixed colors for you.
(From the Cariboublog)
The Campfire name actually came from a Facebook message from John Higby, where John had a dream that we designed a plastic yo-yo and called it "the Campfire". I was so inspired by this name (and since we are a ways out from designing a plastic yo-yo) that I felt that it would be the perfect name for our new yo-yo.
The Campfire is our answer to the "lower cost" yo-yos that you've been seeing at your favorite yo-yo stores. We've minimalized it as much as we thought we could. No IRG, Small diameter/narrow profile (less metal cut = less machine time), simple inner hub shape, solid anodized colors, easy laser engraving.
The idea for the Campfire is a cheaper Caribou Lodge pocket yo-yo that you can take anywhere you want and not feel like the pocket of your pants is going to explode, all while still maintaining the unique look, feel, and play of a CLYW yo-yo.
(End of Cariboublog)
The Campfire is a fast pocket sized yo-yo for the advanced player and uses a size C bearing and silicone response. Just in time for the colder season Caribou Lodge has built you a Campfire to warm your hands up without burning a hole in your wallet.
